The words are not mine and its not in my key.
Its the kind of a song that can't come out of me.

but I can't find the words, I could be here 'till dawn.
Some rhythm would be good but I can't count it out.

I went to a concert last Saturday night.
I sent up the stage and I helped hang the lights.
We heard a songwriter, who spoke of his craft,
And I thought that to try it was daft.

Well, he told me to write I should try what I can't.
Force my pen to the page, give my brain a new slant.
So I'm writing a song, which never shall be,
as instructed by Bob Franke.
